The Tuscan brand opens in Mayfair.
The marriage between London and Giovanni Raspini is now a reality at last. The brand has opened this Summer a new flagship store in the most dynamic city in Europe, settling within the beating heart of the most fashionable streets of London.
The Giovanni Raspini boutique is located in Mayfair, n. 5 South Molton Street, a delightful pedestrians only street situated just south of Bond Street tube station, on the corner between Oxford Street and New Bond Street. Only a step away from the two frantic shopping high streets, thoroughfare the former and traditional and of more austere character the latter, Bond Street, which is, in fact, regarded as the most exclusive shopping street of the Capital.
The London flagship of the Tuscan brand, confronts the elegance and rigor of the adjacent Victorian residences, by displaying one very large window, a sort of luminous lookout on the pedestrian street which enables the passer-by to observe and admire the interior of the shop. The outside building is all black and, in addition to the traditional crocodile door handle, it boasts a sober flag on which the big brother of the reptile is climbing, in an eighty centimeters cast.
The store shows an evolution of the retail project, becoming object of an important restyling of the concept of furniture, but maintaining the winning elements of Giovanni Raspini historical stores. The traditional dialogue between black and white is repeated and revised in the light of studies regarding the perceptive experience of the customer within the space, in order to perfect the functionality and pleasantness. On the lower level there is a small drawing room, elegant and reserved, ideal for discussing more important purchases.
