To celebrate this important milestone, Giovanni Raspini marked the opening of its first boutique in China on 6 December with an exclusive event. The store is located in Shanghai's prestigious Grand Gateway 66: the beating heart of Chinese luxury shopping and the ideal destination to create a bridge between Italian traditions and Oriental modernity.
After the success of the digital store on Tmall, Giovanni Raspini is expanding its presence in the Chinese market with a physical location. The boutique was inaugurated with a ceremony that paid homage to local traditions, including the evocative Lion Dance, which symbolises good luck and prosperity. Giovanni Raspini himself attended the event and shared his vision for the future of the brand.
GIOVANNI RASPINI DEBUTS ON TMALL
Created by the international architecture firm Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, the boutique is a tribute to Italian design, reinterpreted in a contemporary key for the Chinese market. The interior combines natural materials such as stone and wood with rose gold metal to create a warm and cosy ambience. Every detail, from the custom-made furnishings to the finishes, is carefully designed to capture the essence of the brand and offer a unique shopping experience.
The opening day was celebrated with an exclusive party at the Shangri-La Hotel. The guests were welcomed on a red carpet, then enjoyed a fashion show with models wearing the brand's most iconic creations.
This new opening has allowed Giovanni Raspini to consolidate its international presence, and also represents a cultural dialogue between Italy and China: two countries united by their love of elegance and high-level craftsmanship.
