Eclectic, visionary and dreamy, the Tuscan jewellery brand's new "narrative" space opens in Monte San Savino, in the heart of the Valdichiana.
After the purchase and a careful restoration that lasted over two years, the company has brought back to life what was once the home of the famous Renaissance artist Andrea Sansovino (Monte San Savino, 1467–1529), to transform it into a place of culture and creativity that dialogues with the past while looking to the future. On 2 July, the Palazzo finally opened its doors to guests and friends, with an event dedicated to the Italian press.
With over twenty-five spaces including frescoed rooms and halls, an internal courtyard, large medieval cellars and two charming panoramic terraces, the historic five-storey palazzo has its roots in the Etruscan substratum and displays a 16th-century façade framed by a beautiful Tuscan piazza.
"I wanted to lay the foundations for a place that was at once an atelier and a creative workshop, an exhibition venue, a Renaissance studio for meeting and collaboration, and a hotbed for new talent"
The palazzo is a succession of spaces (and moments) that depict the brand's creativity, featuring a series of unique pieces arranged in exhibits and displays of jewellery, objects and artefacts. They have been housed in many rooms of wonders, cabinets of curiosities, each with its own identity, yet all united by a recognisable common stylistic thread.
During the visit and the dinner organised for journalists and insiders, the guests were able to immerse themselves completely in the creative and imaginative world of Giovanni Raspini, breathing and experiencing for one evening the magic of a dynamic place, composed of uniquely creative objects.
