Range
The Giovanni Raspini online shop offers a vast assortment of brand items within the Jewels and Charms ranges. The products belonging to the Home range, on the other hand, are sold exclusively at Giovanni Raspini boutiques and authorised retailers. The online offer may in any case differ from that of the points of sale and is constantly updated.
Product features
Giovanni Raspini jewellery is crafted of Sterling silver, some pieces are gold-plated in a galvanic bath. All products are protected from oxidation and surface alterations. Each of our creations is conceived, prototyped, made and packaged exclusively within the company, handcrafted with great care and infinite passion. The ancient lost-wax casting technique is the most common process we use to craft our jewellery. Each product retains its unique characteristics, and any minor imperfections are due to craftsmanship. Each product is completely nickel-free.
Precautions
Giovanni Raspini creations are designed to be worn every day and on all occasions. As such, they only require infrequent special maintenance, especially if the pieces of jewellery are handled gently and stored carefully. However, since they are precious objects, some simple care must be taken to preserve their beauty and splendour over time. Normal daily use and external agents such as air humidity, temperature, ambient pollution, contact with cosmetics and skin perspiration can reduce the brightness of silver surfaces and change the original surface finish to appear darker and more opaque in colour. The extent and speed of the phenomenon cannot be predicted because they depend on several factors. To keep this phenomenon under control, silver jewellery should come into as little contact as possible with substances like detergents, creams, perfumes and water, in particular swimming pool water (chlorinated) and thermal spring water (sulphuric). In general, direct contact with any substance containing alcohol should be avoided. Lastly, a good habit for preserving your jewellery is to store it separately in individual, soft, clean sachets or boxes in a dry place, away from heat sources and any agents in general that could damage it.
Cleaning
In order to maintain the product's shine, it is good practice to regularly wipe the surface with a soft cloth, paying attention to the finish of the piece of jewellery and any precious stones. In the case of particularly worn products, you can use non-abrasive products specially designed and tested for cleaning jewellery. Most commercial silver-cleaning products can be used without risk as long as they are used correctly. However, care should be taken with those containing ammonia, alcohol, acids or chemicals that may be too aggressive.
